Came to Geelong from Finley on the Riverina in 1973.

Former Melbourne Grammar high-jumping champion.

Known as "Jumpin' Jack" because of his enormous leap and ability to take spectacular marks.

Represented Victoria from 1979 onwards.

Suffered bad knee injury in 1982.

Jack was the highlight of Geelong's back-line for more than a decade.

Retired after injury in 1983.
